Unhappy 94 88LSS dual radiator fan runs constantly

3.8 V6 225000 miles has run great all this time. Now the radiator cooling fans run constantly while the engine is running. Does not run when engine is off. Puzzled....any one know the cause? Oh, not over heating.

You may wish to check the coolant temp sensor that goes to the PCM. It is my understanding that if it is not getting any signal telling it how hot the engine is, then it will run the fans constantly.

Might not be a bad idea to get a computer plugged in to it and get it professionally diagnosed. There are other things it could be, but this would keep you from throwing money at it, hoping you fixed the right thing.

Thanks, Randall, will do. I suspected something of the same type may be the culprit.
