Default wire digram

I have a 1996 oldsmobile lss and I need a wiring diagram for the drl (day time running lights) .

What i am thinking is to get a drl module from the junkyard and wire it in to my nissan truck.

Any wiring diagram for a gm drl system would be great,

THANKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Trying to find something that is specific for your car, but I am not able to do so, I was able to find a diagram for GM DRL'*, hopefully it is what you are looking for.
If it is not I'll see what else I can find.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a universal kit that could be installed on any vehicle.

I see a few kits on Amazon, if he does not already have the lights he wants to put on the other car.
Amazon Amazon

I read for this one kit hey say you just run a ground wire to the battery, then the positive to an ignition ACC/ON wire so they are on whenever the car is on only.
So I suppose you could just get an appropriate inline fuse, and run that to nissan'* ACC/ON fuse in your fuse box, then just run a ground wire to the battery.
The inline fuse may be overkill if already attaching it to your ACC/ON fuse in the fuse panel, or another ACC/ON power location if it is already fused, but I like to be safer than sorry.

Hopefully I understood what he is trying to accomplish, I have not finished my coffee yet, so I am not firing on all cylinders yet.

I was thinking was a detailed diagram I could wire it in to the nissan
also it does not have to be for my model, it can be for other models I would just need to know what year/model

I just looked at the electrical diagrams for my Bonneville, and its not pretty for the DRL. Looks like 2 different modules. Body control module and the DRL module tie in together. It'* not exactly a simple circuit.

What you could do is, grab one of those big resistors found underneath the inside fender(under hood) connect that to the positive side of your headlights and the other side to accessory power(when you turn the key on, power comes on). This will allow the lights to come on at 95% brilliance. Which is typical for DRL'*.
