Default Oil pan removal 96-99

Jack up your car and put on jack stands.


Drain the oil from the pan.



Remove the oil level sensor on the front of the oil pan. Failure to do this will result in a damaged sensor.


Remove the oil pan bolts.

Remove the oil pan.

Remove the oil pan gasket.

Clean up the gasket surface.

Clean out oil pan.

Reverse procedure to install.

Torque oil pan bolts to the correct amount.
