Fuel Pressure regulator (FPR) replacement
Locate your schraeder valve.
And relieve the fuel pressure.
Now locate your FPR, it is on your fuel rail, location my differ on some models.
Now remove the vacuum hose.
This is the clip you will need to remove. You will need a spring clip pliers.
Using the correct pliers you compress the clip to remove it.
Compress the clip and lift out.
There is a O-ring inside, so you may need to really work the FRP to get it out, twist it. You may need to use a pliers to wiggle it out. Do not pry to hard that you damage the fuel rail.
Then just remove the FPR.
Now on your new FPR, put a small amount of lube on the O-ring, this will make it easier to insert and reduce the chances of damaging the O-ring.
Insert the new FPR in to the fuel rail.
Put the clip back in place, ensure it'* secure.
Reconnect the vacuum line.
Put Shrader cap back on.
Turn key to run, but don't start engine. Wait a few seconds for fuel lines to prime.
Start engine.
