I do have a bad habit of going 70 on 422 when I'm heading into Butler (55 mph limit) though... but alas I still get passed like crazy.
and also, if anyone ever tailgates me when I am speeding and we happen to be on a single lane road... I will do the speed limit or slightly less just to irritate you. It'* the most annoying thing in the world for me to be going 65 in a 55 and have someone right on my bumper because I'm not going fast enough apparently

But yes I agree its stupid when the speed limit is 60-65( say between Titusville FL, and Lashe'* house in Deltona ) and people tail gate you and pass into oncoming traffic and they have to be doing 80-90 mph... Its nuts, and they wonder why so many people get killed

All seriousness aside....I'll be making my annual trek down to the Orange Land next week. I'll be taking the Amtrak AutoTrain which leaves me off just outside of Orlando and from there I drive down to Miami. Sometimes I take I-95 and sometimes (when I have some spare change) I'll take the Florida Turnpike. Both have a speed limit of 70mph for most of the stretch that I drive. Which means the Federalies usually don't bother you if you don't drive over 80mph. It amazes me how many cars pass me like I'm standing still. If I DO go over 80, I'm the one in the middle of the pack.

Yeah its pretty funny tho.... when you get to the FLA state line as you are leaving Georgia, everyone goes from about 73-74mph to 83-84 Mph as soon as they hit the " welcome To Florida " sign... Once or twice I spotted the Troopers sitting there clocking people.... Us guys/gals in a group doing 80-81 or so were fine.... But the people Passing at 90ish were getting tickets... I like to hang with a group and just go with the flow.. If you want to fly I'll gladly move out of the way
