Got a Email today regarding performing at the Renaissance faire. Been doing it for a long long time. And as some of you know I'm a street performer. Basically I perform to a few people in small groups. I've been doing larger shows but for the most part, just being in the show. Well, looks like that has changed this year. The number one barbarian wont be performing this year. I was asked to take his place, and I said yes. What this means is I will have a wireless microphone and need to do all the announcing. Ya, I have to do it in front of 4 large grandstands. As comfortable as I am performing in front of people, this is new. I must say, I'm a little stressed. I only have to do 38 shows and 18 parades.

Thats great news. Congrats. I would love to see one of your performances in person. Ever plan on coming way out east? lol

Furthest east I've gone is Ohio. Hard to travel to do this when you have kids.

I wouldn't say I'm making a profit. I have several grand tied up in garb. Animal pelts can cost a small fortune. I still want a lion.

As much as I enjoy being a performer, I don't think I would want to do it for a living. Kind of takes the fun out of it.
