I use distilled water in my cooing system to prevent scaling and oxidization as well as flushing out the system twice a year. I use Royal Purple oil in my car and it is supposed to be good for 12,000 miles. I still change it at 3,000. When I do an oil change I empty out the old oil and when it stops dripping, I run 4 quarts of regular oil through till it comes out clean, then I fill it up with the good stuff. I wax my car at least once a month and yes I do strip off the old wax before I put new wax on. My engine is the cleanest area of my car. My car audio system sounds better than my home theater system. While at home, my car gets vacuumed before the house does. I do sleep in my car instead of sleeping on the couch! I might be a car nut
