I call BS Back, Polarized glasses do cut out glare IE the HUD.

Your glasses may be photochromic not Polarized, and thats why it works,

All i know is that iv tried other Polarized sunglasses and they all do it. cut it down so i can almost not see it.

But if i turn my Head Sideways it comes back

are these quality polarized sunglasses or cvs/walmart sunglasses, there is a big difference in lense quality here, and there are also different forms of polarization. I do not doubt that different lense manufacturers use different polarization to achieve a different lense and or to save $$

Bandit speak-um heap big truth. Reflected light is highly polarized and lenses that are polarized 90 degrees to the reflected light (e.g. HUD) should completely block that light.

the direction of polarization would make a difference. If expensive glasses have a slightly different angle of polarization then you would be able to see the hud.

Not sure if it would make a difference but ryan also doesn't have a hud windshield.
