Stupid ex-wife
[RANT] Well I decided to try and purchase the GXP. They actually have it at a good price: 2005 loaded, 2658 miles, 26,995. They were going to give me 11K for my Impala, which is very good. I think they really want to get rid of the GXP. Everything was set and I was going to head in to fill out paperwork, then I got the call: Because of my 'less-than-acceptable' credit (due to a divorce in which I got stuck with about 8K in debts that weren't mine), I would have to put down an extra 5K and my payments would be about 850. EGH.
So I guess this is where I stand for now; I'll keep screwing with my Impala until my credit is 'acceptable' enough. Maybe by then the new GM RWD V8s will be out.

Your "stupid ex-wife", yet your location is "your girlfriends sofa", ...
Hmmm, ...
Good Luck, ..., work on the debt pay-off, & get yer FICO score back up there where it needs to be. You'll much better off next time you try to buy.
