ok killer, I will try to explain it for you, then I am off of it. a 3800 is probably the most perfect balance of power and economy I have ever driven. I have driven POWERFUL chevy 350'* that could pass anything but a gas pump, and 4 hitters that couldnt even get outta thier own way. PLus, you said in another thread that you couldnt afford a trans flush, so why would you want a gas guzzling v8? save it for later, when the dollars are rolling in, you have matured, and you can find a car that will last you longer than 25 miles. In the meantime, I think I would be trying to baby the ride, make it last and concentrate on making it SAFE and RELIABLE!

Yea, its allright man! The thing is none of us like having our V-6'* put down, even if your not directly talking about any 3800 series. Yea, V-8'* have a lot of power, but unless you plan on taping into and modfying something then that power is going to stay dormant compared to its potential it could have with mods. Think about it, a L67 can hang with and probably pass a 5.0 mustang. Think about the weight, size, and what type of cars they are.

Wow All i have to say is wow that 1991 camaro we tested was amazinly poopy it couldn't burn out very well at all it was a 5.0l v-8 the lowest one with 170hp the exaust was amazinly cool sounding and the car looked hott!! It couldn't really even spin the tires over 1/2 spin although my friend accedintly spun the tires in reverse pulling out of a drive way when we were turning around plus the engine sound turned heads but my friend wants a more powerful car than that tommorrow we are going to test drive a 1985 chevy camaro that they want $1250 with alot of hop ups like a holley intake some other stuff I like all new gaskets throught the entire engine either 135k miles or 235k miles dunno how many times the spedo turned over it had some rust but 2 phat pipes comming out the back it had a 305 in it..... Dunno when we are goint to test drive but we dont want it if its as poopie as the other camaro........the guy with the other camaro had 2 camaros and he understood when we said we wanted more power......his other camaro was a 1987 that had a 383 in it..... overall it was a kinda cool day
