The focus actually does have a jet engine in it, it is made for the show circuit (kind of like that jet semi that has been around forever, and hey if you can have the imagination and skills to put a jet engine into a focus, you get props from me.

Because all they can afford at the time is a Honda, and everyones doing it, and just cause a car is fast doesnt mean it'* a race car. I saw a ford ZX2 with the normal seat belts with racing harness padding on them.... Racing strips, hiddeous lettering on top of front and rear windshields, a "custom" shift ****, and some other crap i don't really care to remember the other day. Yeah.. an Escort ZX2... silly world ain't it? Why not just get a better car, then make a small/cheap car all "racy". Thos indiglow gauges add 20Hp on their own you know....

Well if import owners wouldnt turn their cars into **** I wouldnt rag on them about it. I'm not anti-import, I'm anti-turning decent vehicle into annoying sounding, be-stickered, have a better car than anyone else, attitude that most "rice" owners have. Besides, the majority of "rice" drivers spend more money on useless body kits, sitckers, and wings, than on actual performance mods.

If you want a body kit, get an OEM body kit. ie, get and SSEi
Anything more then OEM body kit is ridicolous. What smellbird is trying to point out is the laughable catfish looking body kits that idiots put on friggin Civies and Corollas.

That'* right Jim. Most of the time the cars just end up looking ugly, not to mention when the body kit doesnt fit the car. Putting a 70 pound wing on a FWD vehicle is pointless. I can see why some will put on a spoiler because then the car is more visually appealing. My cousin said it best, people will spend 10 grand on a body kit to make their car look fast but then won't spend a dime on engine mods, not even simple bolt ons.
By the time a person spends enough money to get their stock Civic to do 13-14 second 1/4s, they could have got a new Mustang with a bit of change left over, and not have spent the time piecing their engine back together.
My first car was a Olds Cutlass Ciera. I got a Bonne because I wanted a comfortable car with plenty of space and not get robbed on insurance payments.
