That'* surgery 8 or 9....lost count......75% of the bone between the wrist and the knuckle is a replacment from the rim of the pelvis.
In medical terms, that'* a graft from the left iliac crest to the right 5th metacarpal. I've also had 3 grafts from the lumpy bone on the right wrist to the same location. This was the last. Just to remove the hardware and do a final 'cleanup'.
Not a laser accident. I should post pics of my original xrays after the accident. looks pretty cool.

Too long a story.......all this typing is killing me.......must clean and re-wrap my hand (that'* in case my doctor reads this)........
Let'* just say it was serious blunt force trauma, with a foreign object travelling through my hand from the palm side out.
