Know Anything About Money Orders?
OK, I need to know something.
Today I went to the grocery store and asked for a 29 dollar money order to pay for an eBay purchase. The store accidentally gave me a 49 dollar money order, which since I am broke, I am going to keep.
Now, I want to cash that thing and turn it into 20 free dollars for me, which I can promply inject back into the economy by buying something else on eBay. How should I do it? Would it be as simple as making it out to one of my friends and having them go and cash it? How and where does one cash a money order anyway?
Bunch of stupid questions I know, but bear with me.

Bonnephile, I'm not saying anything against you as a person, 'cause believe me I know what it'* like to be dead broke (and I'm sure the $20 could be put to good use)! But just remember that someone will still have to pay the price... if you made that honest mistake, would you want to have to pay for it?
P.*. I realize my response does not answer your question... but this is the "Lounge", so there you have it.

The way I see this is such; not going into any detail, my family has been going through a really hard time and of course, the low tide lowers everyone'* boats if you know what I mean. I feel like if the Powers That Be didn't want me to have an extra 20 dollars, the Powers That Be wouldn't have even given me the opportunity to get an extra 20 dollars.
That'* just my opinion....thanks for your input.
