Default Back from British Columbia.WITH PICS

Well, 1665 kms later, we have arrived back at home. It was a good trip there and back, the Isuzu Rodeo got around 30 MPG going through the B.C mountains. The cottage/beachouse was pretty good, HOTTER THAN AN OVEN, but we survived because Lake Okanagan was like 20 FT away, private beach too. Drank quite a bit each night, also we saw Anchorman...HILARIOUS MOVIE WOW!
Anyways I will have some pictured up later, we used most of the space on the camera to record video of my brother and sister on the inner tube behind the Sea-Doo Challenger 1800 we rented Friday.

Mostly of what we saw through British Columbia, trees, mountains, and lakes...ohh and goats running across the hwy making everyone slam on the brakes...

For those not farmilar, this is a run away lane, designed for if you are a trucker, hauling frieght most likely, and you experience loss of brake power due to the down grades (AKA Brake Fade) you can go right off the hwy and onto one of these, usually at speeds over 90 MPH, kinda scary looking, thats one of the best ones we saw, the other ones were like, throw the truck in 1st gear on the hill and hop out of the cab!

This was the floor in the kitchen in the cottage, it was sloped down toward the balchony pretty good, kinda was odd, looked like it was sinking down maybe in one spot, causing it to do that lol.

There'* A LOT of runaway lanes in Colorado, most out west in the US are paved or graded well.. I've always wanted to try it..

haha, if you tried one with a car, say, your car, luck would probally have it that the 18-wheeler behind you would follow you up there and crush your vehicle...this could result and a large problem at hand. lol With a truck, that would be diffrent, these run aways are freakin scary looking, no gravel, and they kinda stop after about 50Ft lol.
