WOW, camera phone...
Just downloaded the first pic from my new Verizon/LG enV.
I can't believe that this thing gets this kind of resolution, it looks damn near as good as my Dad'* Sony camera.

2.0 mega-pixel. And the thing'* pretty intelligent, too. Bad lighting doesn't seem to throw it, nor does very bright light, or extreme contrast. The only bad part is that I can't send picture messages with the highest resolution, and the phone doesn't have any way to step down the resolution once the picture is taken. So if I take a high-res pic, I have to pop the little MicroSD card out to transfer it to my computer.
Haven't really gotten to play with the video much, but it seems to be decent, as well. We'll see how good it is when I post the video of that little thing rjolly gave me.

take some photos of things far away, or landscape pictures for comparison.
here'* a picture I took with my RAZR phone. It takes pretty decent pictures too... for a phone! I'm really interested to see what your landscape pictures will look like on your phone. Each one reacts differently it seems like.

Camera phones have definately come a long way, but I think where they'll fall flat is in low-light situations... the digital sensor is just too small to be able to render the detail without significant amounts of noise and grain.
But relatively speaking, that'* damned good - basically you don't need to lug a camera around everywhere anymore
