Default Totally screwed by someone on eBay, again

I kind of had it coming this time. I found a $10 38" acoustic guitar, and I bought it. The reasoning behind it was that I could have some nice wall decoration and free-in-a-way guitar strings, case, strap, and pitch pipe. I have a full size Alvarez, and it eats the cheap strings I buy from Guitar Center. It was a nice idea.

This really sucks. It blows. The guitar was supposed to look like this:
http://www.dsdimages.com/Images/47/Medium/09053606.jpg
Its description read that I was going to get a 38" red acoustic guitar with extra strings, a guitar case, a guitar strap, and a pitch pipe. The body was supposed to be made of glossy rose wood binding with a linden wood fret. 18 strings total with a copper and nylon finish on those.

When I got the box in the mail, I actually thought by looking at the packaging that I'd have to put the thing together! The packaging is just 25 1/2 inches! What on Earth? I completely disagree with the description. Have a look.

It'* just so horrible! The teeny little thing is dwarfed by my Alvarez! It'* almost funny, but it'* a waste of materials. I tried tuning it, but the strings don't stay tightened, and sometimes they flex WAAAAY out of key. There'* no nylon here. None whatsoever. All 6 strings, and that'* all that came with the guitar, are just some cheap steel or something.

I made a recording of the first two strings, the failure of the third string not staying taut, then being stretched, and then the last three strings. This is sad. Right-click and save.

To be honest, the guitar advertised looks pretty shitty, but the description is a blatant lie. You should give some negative feed back, not that it will help you.

I actually would have been fine getting just the guitar case, strap, tuner, and strings for what I paid. This is just awful. I have nothing I wanted and a horrible guitar that won't even tune. I'm going to try the PayPal thing when I get my money back through eBay while the seller just gets kicked off. Let'* see what happens.

Can't you get your bank to reverse the charge?

Well, I used my PayPal balance to buy the thing. I'll see if I can work with them. Here'* what I typed to open a dispute in the Resolution Center:
I ordered a 38-inch red acoustic guitar with a case, strap, and pitch pipe included. I was supposed to get a guitar with nylon and copper strings, but I got one with apparently steel strings. Of course, a $10 guitar probably is not a good product, but I made this order for actually the case, strap, pitch pipe, and strings. However, the packaging the guitar arrived in was just a plain cardboard box with no padding, and the guitar was wrapped in a nylon bag. The packaging was just 25 1/2 inches in length, so the guitar is tiny. Nothing about it is 38 inches. This is a horrible product with nothing usable about it. There is no guitar case, no strap, no pitch pipe, and the strings are far too short to be usable on any normal guitar.
Maybe I was a bit too harsh and short, but anyway here'* the message I sent to the seller:
I just got the guitar in the mail. I saw the auction was for a red guitar 38" long. This is nothing like the picture and description. I have pictures of this guitar, even one with the guitar dwarfed by a full size Alvarez. This has no accessories, and the box it came in, which had no padding whatsoever, is 25 1/2 inches long. I need a refund and a shipping label.
I will try to get this resolved far sooner than the clear corners issue. By the way, I still don't have those clear corners...

Definitely file a "Received significantly different than described" complaint. I don't understand how the seller could think they could get away with something this blatantly far off from the description.

I've done a lot of buying a little selling on eBay and I have gotten burned a couple times but I think it just goes with the territory. Just be careful to try to minimize it but its going to happen sooner or later.

Maybe the guy shipped you the wrong guitar by accident? Let us know what he says.

(Or maybe he meant to say 38 cm )

I figure I can laugh at you over $10. If it was $12, I'd go kick that guy'* a$$ myself, just on principle.

Well, I tried tuning the D string today, and it exploded. That'* too bad. Nice video. I started laughing as soon as I saw the tiny guitar.
