o.k so i just called the court house i have to go to today for my ticket to ask them some questions about if i am found guilty and dont have the money to pay with me what would happen.. but anyway the lady told me that i have to be there atleast even if i dont have money to pay because there is an actuall witness that will be there today..



wtf.? what witness...

there was no one there but me and the other 1 guy that was driving the rav 4. and then the cop that came after the accident happened..

so im really baffled as to where the hell a witness just popped up from out of no where and will be there at court..

and when they say a witness they mean someone that was actually there and (seen/witnessed) what happened right.? not just someone that read the police and accident report and has there opinion..

I think she means the officer who wrote the ticket.
If he doesn't show up, you will be lucky and the ticket will be dissolved.

Be prepared for another possibility.

It'* not unheard of for the person in the wrong to talk one or more of his friends into saying he/she was there and witnessed the accident. If this is the case, then it'* just your word against them.

i was thinking maybe the cop.. but in all honesty he did not even physically see the accident.. all he know'* is that i had the stop sign and the other guy had no sign'* at all even tho what he did was illegal..

even tho i think most likely the judge will favor the cop'* word over mine. is there anyway for me to try and proove the fact that i did everything by the book'* even tho i had the stop sign..?

also is this something i should bring up to the judge. look below.

1- your honor if you physically look at the damage to the vechicles then you will see that i was only 10 feet from the stop sign when i was hit and the exsessive amount of damage to both cars can really prove how fast this guy was making that left turn. (maybe at about 40-45 mph) your honor

2- the other driver states he knows the area so well that there is no way he could have been in the wrong lane when he made the turn. dont 9 out of 10 accidents happen close to home becaus epeople think they know the area.?

3- even if i might have went thru the stop sign without looking both ways (which i did not by the way) and did not see this guy coming then shoudent he have seen me if he was planning to turn in my direction and supposedly knew the area then he should have knew there was a stop sign there and looked if anyone was leaving the stop sing before he made his turn at an exssive amount of speed.?

do any of these 3 things prove a point to anyone here..?

i got pulled over i wasnt street racing just me and my buddy (my dads 99 *-10 and his girlfriends mazda) crusing at about 90 mph just trying to get home on time
well needless to say we were 30 minutes late cause the cop couldnt understand why i was in a hurry +the 15 minuites late allready
so anyway that was last year febuary 14 Aprill 11 i had to go to court for my sentencing
i get in there 30 minutes early
come to find out the jjudge wasnt there that day WTF!!1
so they said you look like a respectable guy 315 dollars can you pay that now *ya cause i new exactly how much you a holes were going to charge me*
anyway there was another guy there who was doing 95-55 and his ticket was 500

EDIT: o btw my buddy stopped behind me and he left a little room in between and the cop pulled in between us stuck his arm out the window and wave for my buddy to leave

i was just thinking if the other guy involved in the accident can be the witness.. oh an my time to be there is 330 pm.. so i hope the cop dont show up but they always do because its overtime for them. :?

and since its overtime the system doesn't profit from the ticket, Stick it to the man!!
