Ya, not a pleasant procedure, I had my bottom teeth extracted, and I didnt really like the Tylenol 3'* they prescribed.
I dealt with the pain. Just hope you dont get dry socket...NOW THATS PAINFUL

I like that advice
But anyways, back on topic...
I am pretty much out of pain right now. So much in fact that I was just able to eat a hot meal. Soft, but hot.
All the residual numbness from the proceedure has just worn off completely in the last few minutes here. So the Vicodin must be working because all I can feel is just like a pressure back there. So I'm just gonna go with my trackrecord on this and assume this is going to be like any other proceedure I've ever had done, I always recover extremely fast.
Thank god he put in the dissolving kind, and yeah they gave me one of those irrigators for in a week or so, I get to use that to get any food out or anything that gets stuck back there.
Yeah, hah, about dry socket. Apparenly when my mother had hers done back in '74, she developed dry socket and said it felt like she had like lava on her gums back there that just would not go away no matter what she took! So I have a feeling that I don't wanna go there. The doc said that it happens in about 15% of cases. So I would rather not be a statistic.
So anyways, I'm off to bed soon, thanks for the support guys, just glad to be reminded that I'm not the ONLY one that had been tortured with this!
Just wish that place was closer. We had to drive all the way over to marshfield. Around 78 miles each way to be exact. And now I have to go back in about 1-2 weeks for a checkup on it all. So eh...drive drive drive. Thank GOD gas has finally dropped around now, I really don't know how I could afford to do it if it was still about $3.20.
