Ha ha ha ha ha, I also am lazy and thankful my rear defroster strip is still in great shape.
Almost wish we had your weather here at the moment, it is 67F and we have 91% humidity, I think winter is taking a little time off, lol

Ya William you had to remind me that my rear defroster is wonked. scrape.. scrape..
I look forward to 67 F anytime soon.
Justin by the looks of this map from today, the rest of N.America may also be in a deep freeze, especially if this Canadian arctic air slides every lower...just trying to give ya some rad cooling !!

So Cold That Ice Forms Inside Windshield!
I think by the looks of this photo the inside condensation formed and then dripped down into dash top. This probably happened as the real subzero temps froze literally the windshield outside and then in while the heep was still warm!

Well The carpets are all dry. What I did find was one water bottle cracked and well frozen. Also one Windex bottle in the front that was solid ice LOL!
I did fire up the heep no problem and only let it run for about a minute.
I used a hair dryer to warm slowly the frozen windshield inside, and wiped it dry.
I think I need a ticket to Hawaii!

Thanks for the reminder to remove the bottle of water I keep in my trunk.
I have had that problem before with getting frost inside.

cold?
Originally from central Wisconsin, lived in New England and Upper Washington State but now cold in Tennessee is 25-30 F and we cry like babies. We have a heated garage too so I almost cannot imagine the real winters with real snow you guys are going through. Good luck and come visit if you get too cold.

There was a fresh dusting of the white stuff today as I carefully made my way down the back steps & out the the (unheated) garage to get a little farther along in re-assembling the engine for our Bonneville. Heads are back on the block, with lifters & pushrods & rockers & all that. Guess I can rent a cherry picker again next weekend & drop the beast back into the body - it'* supposed to warm up to around 30 by then.

It is amazing how much area of N.America has snow and look at these temperatures!
Hopefully it recedes soon. It seems rather early for the cold snap.
I wonder if this is going to be a cold winter....or is this just short term abnormal trend?

Time to put on a pot of hot coffee!
