Have gas stations around you started doing this?
Some stations around me have started adding 10% Ethanol to their gas to replace the benzene. Supposedly it 'burns cleaner'. Any gas stations near you doing this?

From what I heard on the news, many major oil companies are now shipping E10 all over the country. I guess the resupply is what caused a few gas shortages at various stations throughout the US over the last few days.
E10 has also been here in Iowa for many years. It is generally the midgrade fuel at most stations, often rated at 89 octane, but it is always cheaper than regular 87 octane. The gas station next to my apartment actually has 93 octane that is 10% Ethanol, so I use it whenever I can. I enjoy supporting corn growers when I gas up the Bonnie!

E85...i dont remember...but i think its somewhere around 100-105 octane
it is cheaper, but in our tahoe, does not get as good of mileage as 87 89 octane
e85 is made for flex fuel engines, i've heard it will do horrible things to your engine if it is not made for e85, but i've also heard some people use it and don' t have any problems
but straight from the factory, we had to have a special flex fuel 5.3 vortec to run e85....

EVERYONE.... PLEASE DO NOT PUT E85 IN YOUR BONNEVILLE.
There were no production Bonnevilles with flex fuel capability. For that matter, I do not believe there were ever any flex fuel L36s or L67s.... certainly no L27s. E85 is significantly different from regular unleaded gasoline, and major changes to the fuel delivery and PCM parameters would be necessary for a conventional motor to run on E85.

EDIT: I should clarify a bit...
From what I know, "horrible" things may not necessarily happen to your motor if you use E85, but your car is guaranteed to run like crap, perhaps not even run at all. Do your research, and don't put E85 in your gas tank unless you drive a vehicle that is specifically labelled as "flex fuel" or designed for E85.

yeah here at our local gas station we have a 90 octane 10% ethanol that is the same price as the regular 87....so yeah...WELL ANYWAYS!!! I am REALLY interested in hydrogen...maybe one day they will have a hydrogen conversion kit...so we can keep our bonnes...
