Don't try to screw people over on car forums

Cliffs:
Dude pays to get his valve cover powder coated, coater does the work, doesn't ship item. Forum gets involved putting all kind of pressure on him from every direction. Part scheduled to arrive like yesterday.

That'* nothing. I don't know how many of you know about TurboBuick.com. I've been on there since before I owned my 87 TB.
Well, years ago, there was a thread called "Anyone know Joe ___(his last name)?" I think.. something close to that. You couldn't imagine the response that thread got. It ended up on every forum of the time, even non-car related ones. There were all sorts of offers to physically go to the guys house.. police officers offering services, it was just crazy. Epic thread. Probably still the highest post count thread on that site to date. (If it still exists...)
That site has gone after so many people for things its insane.. people, vendors, sellers, buyers, ebay, you name it. But the thread on Joe was the pinnacle.
The site really bands together. It has a forum for VIN checks, stolen car reports, etc. As rare as they are getting, people are really going after them. So the site really comes together when one disappears.
