Default Why drivers are hypocrit about street racing ??

I was surfing thru a few auto forums and noticed that alot of people in car forums keep complainin about street racing.. and how much everyone is so dead set against it.. and to take it on a track.. and bla blah blah.. my poopit don't stinkit..

It just made me laugh so hard cause I bet you my years paycheck that 99% of the people there has done it themselves ( and that includes the people here including myself ).. Even for a short spurt to pass that idiot that wants to cut into your lane.. or do it to go around the idiot you want to get into their lane.. or just plain ( the hell you going to pass me in that POS ).. but yet we all forget that we contribute and do that in our daily driving that if no accident was caused by it.. whatever we're doing is ok right?? Wrong. We can educate as much as we want.. the cops can write as many stupid tickets as they want, but the matter is that it'* just like stoppin the world from stealing.. you know it'* not possible..

Now I"m not saying.. ok folks.. go out and street race every tom dick and henry.. just merely stating how funny it is

unfortuatly I think its the same for everyone. Don't steal yet they do it, dont lie yet they are nice to people they hate but when the person is gone they talk about them. Hypocricy extends everywhere. But yeah about street racing I completly agree I am on a local car forum and what you just said happens to a t, all the time

Yea, no matter what it will happen. The only thing that I find gay about it is when groups will meet at a movie theatre or gas station and organize races to happen on main streets with traffic and stuff. Sometimes when I am driving a truck and see rockets coming up in my rear view mirror, I will get in the way to slow them down. Its funny to see them get mad, and some of them temp me to shove a Ford emblem up their tail pipe.

That is true twistA.. I have thought of doing that before.. hey.. as long as they rear end me.. it'* their fault right? Why were they driving so fast? Is what the cops would say. As long as my car was in that lane straight and first..

ratmfan2118.. I've seen that also and I think thats pretty lame.. At least when I was part of a street racing group.. all was done @ an industrial road that we know no one is around, all shops closed, and the only people that would go down that road are the people that knows whats going on and or the cops.

But this is the way, guess all accidents are caused by street racing..

bottom line: probably no less than 95% of the people that are strictly against street racing street race all the time (or maybe their cars are slow???)

But they still street race never the less.. in their own way, just cause they didn't sit and plan it out with a bunch of people doesn't make them any less dangerous. For example, you look at the stats of the pedastrian killed on the road cause someone wanted to race thru a corner, and or from running red lights. They are still street racing against other people on the road and or against time.

That is just plain dumb! Hey I know what you all are thinking, how does he know the guy was really going that fast? I was doing 80 and the dude was out of signt in about 5 seconds after passed me.
