during the summer me and the gf would go down to the pool almost daily. id run about 20 laps then chill with her. (20 laps isnt really a whole lot for me though to be honest. back in the day i swam like hell in lake michigan and had my lifeguard license) after we were done shed go home and start dinner and id do 30 mins on the treadmill and come home and eat. but being that im now eating southern dinner, all i did was manage to loose 15 lbs, which has all come back now that the pool/workout room is closed for the season :/

my work is kinda physical sometimes, and when im home i take care of my 5+ acre yard and 80 acres of atv trails/woods. I do wood for secondary heat which is a workout on many levels. I also am on the crew to take care of the 25+ miles of our club atv trails which are open anytime there is less than 6in. of snow.

I never really "worked out," but I used to be fairly active.. I would always find something to do, like pack up wood during the fall/winter, shovel a lot of snow, and I used to swim a lot during the summer. When I graduated high school in 2009, I was about 180 lbs, 34" waist.. when I went to university that September, 4 months later, I was about 155 lbs and 30" waist. That was probably my most active summer ever lol. Since then, I've gained about 15 lbs, but I'm still a 30-32" waist. My first two semesters at university, I never had a vehicle, so I had a 10-15 minute walk 4 to 6 times a day. Two years later, I don't walk nearly as much as I used to, and the most activity I do is shovel my parking spot a few times a winter. :\

I would be dancing around the house today if I was able. I broke the 500 pound mark today. I did 6 leg presses with 501.2 pounds. My legs are noodles.

3 or 4 days a week I belong to planet fitness (ty work). I run for a mile then do lifting. I don't know what I have added but I have lost 53 lbs.

I haven't worked out in about 2 months.. it'* killin me. I'm not a big guy but I was puttin up about 275 at one point. Now i'm having trouble lifting 225 I really just need to hit the bench again.

Those numbers are without protein or other supplements, not that I have anything against legal measures of increasing muscle mass. I just haven't gotten into those yet.

Great job Dan. I think working out can be a fountain of youth, but more importantly is seems to motivate to do other things than watch tv.
