Don't forget, thats $200k in 1971 dollars. That was a BIG chunk of change back then, about equal to 2 million today. If he was smart about how he spent it, it would have gone a long way. With somebody to launder it, he could easily be a millionaire many times over today. Or he could be 36 year old bear poop.
