Default Question re downloading pictures

When ever I download pictures onto the pc I end up getting this blank screen with the tittle called ZBThumbnail.info. Most times I just end up deleted it, but why is it there in the first place and why does it end up on the pc?

I don't need to Bill, I've got the live version at home.

By the way, these are pictures from the Digital camera onto the pc.

What software does your camera use to download the pics?

ZB= zoom browser
It'* a Canon right? That'* part of the software they give you with the camera. You don't need most of it, just enough to get the pictures to the PC.
Try removing the whole camera program, then start over and when you download it should give you the option of what features you want to add. Only add the WIA driver and see how that works.

I'm no techie by even the longest stretch of the imagination, but I do know that almost all photo/picture/image software creates an index file to keep track of the images in a particular file. That .info file sounds like one of that type. As to why your software leaves that screen up when you're finished, I don't know.

Does this screen cause any problems, or is it one key or click to close it?

EDIT: Never mind, I took too long to post...lol.

I had good luck in the past closing that type of software and using Windows Explorer to browse the camera card and pull the images back.

I've also gone to just using Windows to pull pictures from cameras. It'* simpler and less cumbersome in my limited experience.
