Idaho'* NewsChannel 7
NAMPA -- Nampa police are still looking for people who opened fire this morning in the 800 block of 10th Avenue South.
Assistant Police Chief Tim Vincent says that'* where people in two cars fired at least six shots at each other. The shooting happened around 10:30 am. Vincent says six shell casings were found on scene and they probably came from a nine-millimeter handgun.
About an hour after the shooting officers stopped a blue Chevy Monte Carlo which was one of the vehicles involved in the shooting. Two male subjects in the vehicle were held and interviewed. They 16 and 17 years of age.
The male subjects told police they were the victims in this shooting. Neither person was injured, nor have police been able to find any place where a bullet struck a house or other vehicle.
The driver stated his vehicle was struck on the trunk but police cannot verify that information at this time.
Police are still looking for the other vehicle which appeared to be a white Pontiac Bonneville.
Investigators say it looks like the two vehicles were just driving through the area while the shooting was occurring.
The two juveniles were interviewed and released at this time. The investigation is ongoing. Police are pursuing leads to the white vehicle.
The curse continues
