a ford?

don't be ashamed you can PM me if it is
If it is,I'll take him off my buddy list

I can drive one but,it'* been longer than Dolly Parton has seen her feet
Well it'* not a Ford but if I told you guys, I would be banned and Dbeast420 would yank me off faster than you can shout "Traitor"

I plan on learning in a Ford (cuz my dad drives a manual Ford)

ditto,

Had a girl friend that couldn't drive manual tran for the life of her, everytime she got on some rant about how men can't multi task I'd ask "If women are such good multi taskers why can't you work a clutch, shifter, and acclerator at the same time?" shut her up real quick.

I come from a family of profesional drivers, I was practically born knowing how to drive manual. If I had my way NO ONE would be able to drive unless they could drive standard.

The Sterling staright truck I drove for my old job, I could shift threw the gears without using the clutch, up or down, without grinding gears. Others drivers at work would try but all they would do is grind gears and make the clutch burn, I never had tranny troubles.

I learned how to drive on with an 87 Ranger, 2.3 5-speed....my dad was actually quite stubborn and basically would not let me learn how to drive unless i could drive that truck, my mom refused to take me driving period, so either had to learn or not drive.....needless to say i learned, and I can still do it, but im a little rusty, because i dont do it very often, and im used to power when i press the gas, so launching the ol 2.3 is kinda tough sometimes.

My dad had a failed attempt to teach my mom in his Rare optioned '78 Firebird Formula Canary yellow with a stick. He told me she about destroyed his clutch and he was replacing it a week later.

Like I said, I am ok with Stick, but sometimes I do stall it and haven't got the hang of downshifting without overevving.

I tried once for like 3 minutes in an 80'* bimmer. Kept stalling it. I am ashamed, I want to learn this summer. My buds got a stick he'll teach me I just haven't seen him in ages.

Come on guys, I'm only 24 but all this talk from a bunch of kids who can't drive stick is making me feel like an old man.

I learned when I was 12 for crying out loud.
