Default 4 Days and Bonneville Club withdrawal

Sorry for the long post but, I need psychological help!

I drove down to NC to see my family for the holidays, it was a 4 day stent without the internet. I did fairly well for the most part, until the drive home. I had 450 lonely miles, as my wife and kids were asleep for most of the ride. I know this sounds wierd, but I started "seeing" fellow board members. Somewhere around mile marker 80 in NC, I saw a 93 green bonnie and I thought "Willwren,". Later at a truck stop I saw a black 00', and first thing that popped into my mind was "rogue". My wife is looking at me like I am freak now, because I just started rambling about the site and their cars and such. As soon as I pull onto the on ramp a Silver beauty fly by doing 90ish. I catch up to the guy "old man, white hair", and follow him down the road for about 150 miles. What pops into my mind, "Hmm, Didnt realize 2000SilverBullet was 85 years old". We hit traffic pretty bad, so we pulled over for the kids to eat and do the family thing. There is a red bonneville with clear corners parked at the BK across the parking lot, so I mosey over expecting to find PontiacDad, It was a cute little lady instead, her ex bought the car for her 3 months ago.

I realize there is no way any of these guys were near 85/95 this weekend, since 2 of them live in Canada and the other 2 live up north. I dont post much, but I think I'm a BC junkie, and I like it!
Sorry I didnt daydream about all the other cars on here, I guess I will have to take more road trips

Funny how this place starts to inter mingle with real life and how we think of members as sharing the experience with us.
Glad you had a good trip and got to enjoy the holidays

We are all honoured by your psychological hallucinations.

I was like that when I drove down to Oregon with my family last summer.

When I arrived in Albany, we stopped at the local movie theater and in the parking lot I saw a red 00 Bonneville with clear corners. I can't tell you how excited I was to see PontiacDad'* car for the first time. It actually was his car.
Then when arriving at the KOA to meet Bill and GreenZilla.
Seems so much bigger in real life........the car, not Bill.
Witnessing DriverJohn'* first drag race with his big Daddy mechanic in the pits.

And, no, I'm not 85 and my hair is not grey, but I would be doing 90 mph.

You have really got to attend a local summer Bonneville Club meet.
It really helps with the BC Club withdrawel symptoms.

You had better be in the passenger seat.

I've given up on trying to hide the forum from my boss. He actually owns a G6 and a 97 GTP in prestine condition (minus a fog light assemby). So I just directed him to the respective forums instead. I get stares quite a bit from upper management, but I only have a few weeks left here!
