Just wanted to introduce myself. I own 2 Bonneville SSEi'*, a 94 Z28 T top, and a 94 Z28 convertible. The Bonnevilles are my wife'* and my daily commuters. The 93 is the wife'* and it seems to run quite a bit better than my 92. Hers has a cold air, smaller pulley, lower cooling fan temps, 160 stat, and Dynomax muffler. Mine is essentially stock at this point in time.

Looking forward to learning a bunch more about these cars and will possibly be shooting some questions that will really make you think. For instance, how hard will it be for me to install the adjustable suspension on my 92?? I just found a car today with the selectable suspension settings and was curious what it would take.

Hey... welcome to the forum... wow.. you're running a 160 T-stat with no probs ?? Humm... always thought them 3800 don't like it.. must be those damm hippie pills again...

I"m not quite sure what you mean by adjustable.. if you're talking about how the SSEI'* have performance ride or touring ride.. then forget it.. it'* way too much work and money to do it. I believe you'll need to get the air compressor ( rear rides on air bags style with level sensor, front is done electronically. I haven't take a look or inspect it.. so don't quote me on it.. there'* a lot of knowledgable people that may help verify or tell me wrong.. the front is done through the dampeners.. I know in R/C cars you could adjust it through shock piston rings.. that opens and closes as they turn.. i.e. 2 holes.. 3 holes... and that seems like how they would go to stiffen and loosen the front ( performance / touring ) since I can't see how they can do it through spring rate without messing up ride height ( which may cause mis- alignment ) There'* some great performance shop that can help you out with aftermarket shocks and spring system for the Bonnies....
