are you selling you buying

selling...dont have a reserve...just buy it now, or start the bid at a lil lesss than what you want it to go for...if an auctin has a reserve..i instantly click off...

buying, get a paypal account, everyone prefers it, and some sellers ONLY take it..

how much u bid and when you do it is up to you...you will get your own strategy...

to get a higher feedback at first, but a lot of little junk...

Be honest and take really good pictures and be as descriptive as you can. Best I can do for ya.....Oh beware of the people that have stuff that'* normally expensive for like .$99....What they try to do is make up for the rest of the difference in shipping.......You're smart you know whow much roughly it'll take to ship something. And if you're looking for anything performance wise for your car on E-Bay.......POST IT ON HERE FIRST!!!!!!! There'* an *** load of scams out there....and I think a lot of people including myself know what just about 3/4'* of them are......

Them are the best tips I got for ya.....Happy Bidding.

ebay is very good about not letting ppl get burned...

they have a ton of policy'*...i have used them

if you pay for an item, dont get it, ebay will give you the moeny back, even if the item eventually shows up...

check out the help section on their site

Make sure you check out the sellers feedback. Usually I won't deal with people that have less then a rating of 50 positive feedback. If for some reason you do get scammed , there is a chance you won't get your money back. Don't let negative feedback scare you off from a sale, when sellers get up there in the ratings(1000+), theres bound to be people that are never satisified with the product they get from the seller. Make sure you read the auctions carefully , and try to stick with the ones with pictures. Check out past auctions to see what other people paid for a similar item. Sometimes it helps to "Google" an item to see if you can find it at an online store for less money .You'd be surprised sometimes that people will pay alot for an item on Ebay, when if they took the time to look around , might find it on Amazon.com(or other sites) for far less.

I've found (and read in a couple ebay selling tip books) that not having a reserve AND not have a Buy It Now and starting the auctions off low are the way to go. It'* always worked well for me and have always gotten more than expected for an item. By not having those parameters set at the auction open entices more bidding. More bidding = higher $ amount in the end.

Also, it'* proven that items sell for more $ that end on Sunday evenings. That'* when the most poeple surf ebay.

Good luck!

if ur buying against an unexperianced buyer use jbidwatcher to place a bid at the last moment.

FYI this doesnt work on the experianced user, because they will almost always use autobid.

im gonna add to what i said in the last post, sometimes when the reserve isnt met on an item the seller will come back and try to sell the item to u at the price u bid at(the important word here is sometimes), most people dont bid on items were there is a reserve, so u can get items really cheap this way... but dont expect for every seller to try selling a item where the reserve wasnt met.

"Buy It Now" is awesome. Once you recieve 10 feedbacks (I believe they have to all be positive...don't remember though...chime in if you know) you can use the "Buy It Now" feature when selling. Once I got that feature I sold my next 4 or 5 items by someone "buying it now.' One item sold in less than 2 hours.
