Weellllllllllll I don't like to refer to the Bonneville as a 'beater' because its a very nice car, but yea I'm going to use it as a daily driver. Which is why I came here to figure out what problems I should be looking for.
I bought a real beater for work, a '88 Lesabre which I got for $500. I'm such a cheap bastard. It has 213k on it and it runs fine, but the sunroof is leaking so come Spring the Bonneville is going on the road and the Lesabre is going to be donated to charity.
The M5 has 6500 miles on it and its a 2000. Awesome car. I fear BMWs future styling direction though.....it sucks IMHO
The M5 will stay with me for a loooong time. No way I will be able to afford another one given the way prices are going!
