Why don't you just sell it and get some money for it.

With what you do in cars, and you're inexperience, you'll be turning any car like that into a money pit quick.

other tha the original attitude addressed by previous posts . . . i say nothing beats that SUPER sexy WS-6 Ram Air Firebird!! It just screams MEAN

And the engine has all kinds of build up options!! i will be looking at one of these for my third car ( i already have the SSEi and a 69 conv Firebird).
The Firebird is in pieces for an overhaul.

Go Pontaic Power!

it'* really none of your business if he deserves it or not.

All the cars I have had went out mostly cause of things I didn't watch

1987 pontiac 6000 (extremely low on tranny fluid for hundreds of miles transmission leak)
1987 olds cutlass 3.8 (it was burning oil hardcore b4 I even got the car and on the night of death it was 2 qts short on oil)
1988 olds cutlass (Ya this car I kinda drove hard but it was 1 qt low when I threw a rod but 1 qt aint to bad plus the car overheated alot before i replaced my leaking radiator and I had to drive for quite a while b4 I could put more water in it)

Nowadays I keep a good eye on my fluids

It doesn't matter how he treats his things, if you can afford a car and you purchase it with your own money you can do whatever you want with it. yea it may not be the best choice financially to buy a nicer car but if he buys it he "deserves" to have it. I hate how people try to be the "who deserves what" police. I saw the same thing in the post about how someone wanted a WRX Sti and everyone jumped all over him for being "too young" for such a nice car.
