I wake up at 9:45 today (boy I LOVE summer break) and walk out to the couch and fall asleep again. As I am drifting back off, my mom tells me to take the garbage out later. At 10:45, my girlfriend calls freaking out because her 90 Lumina Euro broke down in the middle of the road. I jump off the couch, throw some clothes on, and run out the door. Wasnt planning on this today. I was planning on finishing detailing my car. I had claybared, polished, glazed, and waxed all but the lower passengers doors and the front bumper and then taking some pictures after I got my hair cut. So I go find her about 15 minutes down the road, and calm her down. I then followed her back home and then offered to take her on the errands she needs to run (tcc stays engaged and it stalls, and she panicks). By the time I get to my hair cut, I'm late. Not a big deal though. After I take her to lunch and on her errands, my mom calls my cell b****** about me not taking the trash out. Tell me something here, if your girlfriend breaks down, are you going to worry about the trash or worry about your girlfriend, wife, family member, ect? By the time everything is done and I am back home, I dont have time to finish my car before my basketball game tonight (my school has a summer league for the varsity players). So I'm in the game, and my friend goes up for a rebound, comes down, and elbows me in the nose on accident. I get a freakin bloody nose to top the day off. I'm ready for today to be over. Maybe i will go finish the car now, and take some sunrise pics tomorrow? :?

I like how I haven't gotten up before 10am all this week and last week....

get up, lounge around, eat lunch, take a nap, eat again, .......

because I am still used to getting up that early. My HS starts at 7:15, so I get up at 6:30

Why does it seem like once a day starts bad, it just stays bad. I have never had a day start bad then turn better.

In the big scheme of things...I'm happy for you that what you described is a "bad day" worthy of a rant post. .

thats true. my friend might have broke his arm during the game. I was lucky with a bloody nose. the part that turned it into a bad day was the fight with my mother. We have gotten to the point where we fight (verbally) about something every day. I have tried to sit down and talk with her about why we arent getting along, but she wont? (oh, and i guess your bad days kill mine....2 motors )

I used to be like that with my mom. Honestly, we didn't get along that well til I got out on my own.
Without knowing your situation or what you are arguing about, I'd assume it'* just a stage / age thing. Things should improve when you become independent, but that'* just my opinion, for what it is worth.
If you ever need to talk when your having a bad day, I'm here. At 31, I am not too old to remeber what'* it'* like to be young, and not too young to understand wehre parents are coming from, especially with 5 yrs of marriage aond 2 kids.
