thanks for posting that...i live 1/4 from the I-STATE 94 hwy that it happened on...it happened around 5 miles from my house....they closed both directions for a while...so so sad....life is fragile...and precious.

I go to Minnesota State U. I heard about it last night since i was at work all day by a girl that goes to school.
They blocked off the parking lot earlier on the weekend, and were running this thing that was like a cross between a go kart & F1 car. Later that trailer you see in the pix was up against the AET area where they have some lifts and dynometers. It'* kinda freaky that it'* gone.

This is a very sad event. I know I have watched our Formula SAE team practice and have a couple friends on it.
I am going to venture a guess and say that they did not have the proper towing equipment. Looking at the pictures I cannot see any stablizers for the trailer. It could have also been improperly loaded and/or it could have shifted inside it. Also is the inexperienced driver question as well as towing requires some skill.
