LOL!. I saw a couple deer, a hawk, some new calves dropped, and a ferrel pig. Wish I'd had my rifle. They are always in season here. Just went to a friends for coffee and cake. Thats about all the work I do this time of year......Wish the 3 week onslaught of rain would quit, I want to power wash the boat and wax the bike.

I hear ya V. "RAIN"! I'm probably 1.5 hour north of you, and that'* all see. Some bad storms rolling in right now actually. I usually see my wipers going back and forth, and mini lakes of water we used to call potholes.

Oh, and deer. Barely missed one the other night coming home.
And Amish buggies. Somehow, in the last couple years, we have quite a few up here now. Which is fine, until they start hogging main roads where the cars are usually doing 55mph+, and they could care less that they have 7 cars behind them without enough sight distance to be able to pass. I'm waiting for the one day they are trotting along on the major 2 lane, and an 18 wheeler doing 55 can't stop in time. Its not like they don't have other roads, less traveled, going in the same direction.

I was wondering how you managed to come by them, didn't know they were stationed in Iowa. My drive is pretty lame, just 10 lanes packed full of other people trying to get to work.
