I'm sure some of you may be fimilar with the Eclipse GSX (turbo & AWD). Those cars were based off of the Galant Vr4. They stopped making the 4g63 Vr4 in 1992( they went to the 6 cyl TT in 1993) when they came out with the Lancer EVO, which was the replacement for the Vr4 as Mitsubishi'* rally car.
There is a board dedicated to the E39a VR4 feel free to look at some of the cars there. I'm not going to continue this discussion on the board here.

First of all, no galant tranny or any mitsu fwd tranny for that matter will last long, especially for an engine with Mods on it.. In 93 i only find one engine for a galant, a 121 HP 2.0 L I4... And don't talk about EVO'* cause they just got here, otherwise i could bring up how a Holden Monaro would waste these cars... Wait thats a pontiac at the end of the year, the return of the GTO...

To me, Rice is Mostly a cosmetic thing too. Even if the car was 'fast', if it has a big a$$ fart can and/or wing, etc., etc., it will usually look BAD and is Rice. IMO, Stock imports aren't rice until they add stupid cosmetic sh** and is usually very tacky, tasteless,etc....But I agree that a lot of imports don't look good to begin with (Civics, CRX...).

I find most of the Ricers here are the type that spend tons of money on sh** cars that aren't fast and have little potential to be fast. But that'* just what I see here. For some reason there'* a lot of stupid ppl here that THINK they're the sh** and THINK they're fast, and have wings, fart cans, or instead of a muffler just a 4 inch stainless steel exhaust TIP. And 'Ricers' can also describe the ppl who know nothing about their car and are usually punk kids with bad attitudes, and peel out of every crowded parking lot they're in.

Below is a pic of a Honda Accord. This is a NICE car, but it is NOT rice. No stickers, no fart can, no wing(*), no ugly body kit, no ugly yellow "Type-R" seats... (Those aren't fart cans. Flowmasters...it sounds good, rice sounds BAD.)

Man he thinks everyone here is a teenager??? Most of the people i see in a civic or ricer as this forum is saying, have the maturity level of a 10 year old. They are the best, and no one else is close, and no matter what you do to prove them wrong it was still a fluke. They follow others easy but are quick to jump on/off bandwagons. People here get together to share ideas and help each other, they don't do it for any status or anything. Your maturity level is laughable right now, and it'* blatantly obvious, we still havent seen anything on your car yet either.. So don't flame the boards you're just asking for some mod/admin who'* having a bad day (89bonniese89 maybe) to use his power. And to most of us here, there is more to a car then HP and speed. Comfort and syle, and feautres of a car are very important to us as well. It just so happens we get that and a fast for an unmodified car out of the box that is a little different then what everyone else has.

You smoked one a while ago, nice! They do have 205lb ft torque and 195 Hp i believe (just checking up on it after reading this) But 4wd slows them down off the line. I took out a blue Ram earlier today with some loud pipes coming out the back... I played with him at first, then gunned it since it only took about 1/2 of the pedal throw with the A/C on to keep with him at first...
