no, i dont go there. they're not to far away though, 5 minutes tops. i already graduated from dakota county technical college
i took a tour of the house, and its a 1.5 story house, well i dont know how they clasify houses, more like 1 3/4. anyways, the main level is about 2x the size of the top level. the main level is completely restored, and they did a amazing job on it. alot of hardwood, tile. recessed lighting, brand new kitchen, alot of moldings, a really nice house. going into the mstr bedroom hallway it actually steps up 2 steps, and out to the garage. i was very impressed.
they never got to the second floor in there remodeling, but its only 2 possibly 3 bedrooms, so they need carpet/sheetrock/mouldings and paint a little work, but the majority of the work is done.
for right now the upstairs are going to only get a mini facelift (paint-small stuff) and im going to rent out one of the rooms to my brother. and rent out one of the main floor bedrooms (very nice, restored bedroom, i believe it was hardwood flooring) then restore 1 room at a time upstairs.
i put a offer in on the house, which will be finilized on tuesday if they accept it. but im really excited. i guess the last owner worked for wirsbro, so most of the house has wirsbro in floor heating, its a very sweet house. the outside needs to be powerwashed/stained though (cedar)
but if anyone'* looking, there'* one open bedroom for now thats ready to move in, im hoping 5-6 weeks.

500 each for everything which includes all utilities. my brother im trying to get to move out of my moms, so im not going to charge him as much. i checked out apartments in the area, and the dumpiest one is about 500 + cable/internet and thats a studio, 1 bdrms are about 75 more, so the price is definatly fair on both ends
it has a 2 car attached, so the first person in would get garage space. the storage shed is not really for cars, its big, but lawn equipment, bikes etc etc.
as of right now im only going to have 1 roomate and my brother. a few months (3 - 4) ill hopefully have the upstairs worked on enough to have 1 more roomate. the house is very easily a 5 bedroom, but thats to crowded.
i could email some pictures of what the house looks like, i have about 4. its actually on the south side of northfield, in dundas (on the border). which if you know northfield is basically a township of northfield (near intersection of hwy 3 and co rd 1)

its F'ing bullshit. i go down there to make a offer, i made my offer, which is what they were asking on the house. well someone else makes a offer later that day for 3000 more, and they now have a signed purchase agreement. so the real estate lady calls me and tells me, and says they are going to keep my offer as a backup, but someone bid higher than me. i personally think they knew what i bid, which is illegal, but there'* no way to know/prove that. so its 98% for sure sold, but ill know 100% in about a week.
well that just ruined my day. there is another nice house in the same price range, but in redwing. i dont think i want to live in redwing, its a little farther out.

update:
well there'* about a small chance they may be backing out of the deal, ill know for sure by the end of this week, but its most likely sold
tomorrow im going to go look at townhouses in northfield. 3 bedroom ones. ill be renting 1 out to my brother, and im still looking for a roomate if anyone'* game. $500 for everything, maybe a garage stall...depends if its a 2 car garage, my brother for sure isn't getting a stall if it is (since id charge him a little less)
i guess there'* 2 styles to pick from, the smaller but newer, or the older but bigger...personally, to me - i care more about the inside quality/size, but if i get a older one (like 1980'*) it wouldn't be rundown or anything, they're just more plain.
