ha. on a side note, cars are cheep there!!! or is it 2500 down on that badboy?

car is currently parked parallel. and my back hurts too much from working to push er. so ill be messing with it probably on thursday when im off. right side axle btw.

accidentally started it in park to get it off the rollback, and for just that brief second it was in reverse it was enough to turn the rear view mirror down and knock my cb mic off its mount. wont be trying that again!!!!

well, i got impatient. the neighbors were out and i yelled over to em to push me while i steered

ive never done an axle before, but i dont think its supposed to look like this. the rings were still on the boot, but i couldnt find the 3rd bearing. is there supposed to be one?

Ordering new belts (serpentine and water pump) and a water pump drive pulley. New pulley is because I had to remove the pulley when doing the valve cover gaskets, and in the process of removing my first pulley I started to do it wrong and ever so slightly bent it as it'* plastic. Helps when you know the right tool for the job

finally got my car back, rental really makes you appreciate a good car. car seems really tight and solid like my 03 monte now with the strut bars and kyb struts, hard to believe how much difference those things make. now i just have to put all the speakers and things back in it that i took out so the shop wouldnt be tempted to "loose"

A proper detail for the new year. It was getting dusty sitting in the garage. Next year I need car cover for it. I can't wait to drive it on nice sunny days. It'* a weekend car/sunday driver. It should be nice.

Washed and waxed tuesday. I replaced to front rotors, pads, and calipers with dual piston ones from an Impala Monday. My drivers' side caliper started sticking, so I figured it was just as well upgrade.

I am going to need a clay bar & start from scratch. This wont happen soon as the weather has been very stormy/rain every week still. I need some dry days to get er done!

roads around here are getting muddy from tractors, cleaning the cars would be about as pointless as during the winter
