Hahaha. One of my buddies had a 85 Bronco with four 15s in the back. It would make the bed cap jump on the bolts.

I like this 10" shallow that I got. It gets loud if I want it, and hits hard.

:( All this sub talk makes me sad, when my car broke down a while back I was forced to sell both of mine, my amps, and 10 farad capacitor, I also had to destroy my custom made box, as it was just too big and heavy to get back out, even with the subs removed, when the guy asked how big I wanted the box, I replied as big as it can be before it won't go in there.
When I bought my subs they were a grand each, and the guys had yet to hear them perform, so I had to go back to them so they could hear them after I got it all hooked up.
It was raining the night I mounted the subs, I did not care as I had a tarp, and a will to deliver some serious bass ASAP!
I would have people in convenience stores ask me to turn it down when I'd pull up, and I never left it up when pulling in, lol
I could live to be 100, and I don't think I'll ever grow out of loving bass that can damn near stop your heart!

Here are pics of the night I installed them, and a pic of one of them before I sold them.

Note: That cap in the trunk was a tiny one I had before getting the 10 farad one...

I once knew a guy in high school that had a little Nissan pickup. He had 2 10'* behind the seats and an unknown wattage amp, couldn't have been too high cause this was in 94 I believe. Anyhoo, his doctor told him to take the big speakers out because the bass was screwing with his heart rhythm in a bad way.

Not my car, but the engine needed to be lifted up to get access to a broken crank sensor that got stuck in the block.

In my GP I replaced my window switch with one that had the auto down feature from a GTP.

I didn't know the autodown feature was built into the switches themselves. If I remember correctly, the Bonnevilles module was inside the door.

Probably with some McGyvering, you could make the passenger side auto too.

I'm looking into making the pass side auto down as well, actually. Looks like I'll need to find another auto down switch from a 91-93 car and I can probably make it work.

I took a picture of the back side for reference.

The one with the coil (right) does not have the auto down feature.
