I got it done It took about an hour to do that side. The bottom bolt on the caliper was giving me a bit of trouble. My drivers' side is just as bad, but its not making any noise yet, so I'll change that one the weekend. I attempted to do it today, but I broke my ratchet trying to loosen one of the bolts for it. I'm just happy the noise is gone now.

travis, do ur brakes right after a good stop and go drive. heats stuff up and makes it easier.
also, make sure to grease the sliding bolts really well. with the northern winters it wears off and you get uneven wear between the 2 pads.

Had a great day today! Did a rebuild on a 4L70E out of a 09 Silverado, burnt the 2-4 band out due to a leaking 2nd apply piston and the servo pin was too short as well. Knocked a few alignments, transmission services and recalls out of the way too. Wish all days went as smooth as this, Monday I was about to close my toolbox and roll it out of that place...
