Had a pretty decent day today. Did a couple Optimum used car safety'*, few brake jobs, couple alignments. Tune up, yeah it was pretty good. Got a bunch of work on a used car lined up for tomorrow. The Aztek I put the tranny in came back today with a VSS code, he went camping and it looks like a stupid chipmunk or mouse chewed through one of the wires right at the plug. I don't know what it is with mice chewing on wires, they sure like them though!

The Cutty is clean and ready for the Woodward cruise. I hope there is a decent turn out for other Cutty convertibles.

No kidding! had a porcupine destroy a brand new Astro conversion van at the last place I worked at, chewed wires, rear heater hoses and rear A/C line'*. Would have loved to see it on tape when he punctured the A/C line!

I went to the junkyard yesterday. I looked at about 20 different Blazers and S10'* looking for a rare button. Yes, the rare Tow/Haul button. Finally found one.

Got back home, grabbed a spare pin wire and installed it on PIN 71 of the Blue PCM connector, ran it into the cab via the firewall, soldered it to the button, ran the ground wire, cut a hole in the bottom of the headlight switch, installed the button, then I used the laptop and HPTuners to change the Trans Performance mode from Class 2 bus, to 1 switch and voila, I now have the Tow/Haul trans performance installed.

Next week, I get to install my Flowmaster 40 on the truck. Wife got that for me yesterday for my early b-day present(actually, its today).
