Good choice. My 94 Dodge has never had to go to the Dealer, given me 160k miles and counting, and the only things replaced are the injector pump and sending unit. Be forewarned though. That year range will not do well without continuous addition of fuel lubricant. I learned the hard way.

Don't have alot of modding to that Cummins to make it go. You can get lower profile fuel plates for next to nada, or if you want to really blow soot and go. Just take it out and dump 500cc'* per minute down the throat of it. I prefer to keep mine for the long haul, it tows my 8600Lb boat around; but a friend runs plateless and eats turbo'* often. He considers it, money well spent for the power he craves.

Diagnosed a vibration that I've had developing. Ok, actually my buddy the full time mechanic did as we headed for the store. Knowing it wasn't life threatening and working on cars enough has a downside. You let some stuff go a little longer.
I knew it wasn't a large issue and haven't had a moment to jack up the car to diagnose it.
Car needs a driverside axle. No biggie...at 170K miles an axle is acceptable.

Today I'm going to brave our sub freezing weather and go out and clean the old license plate sticker with acetone and put the new '11 on. Wish me luck.
