My cutty is getting a new bumper cover. Basically took one I had around cleaned it all up. Filled in the rock chips and scrapes.
Then I filled in the dimples for the front license plate bracket. Then I got it ready for paint.
Kinda of a crappy pick, but...

Then today a ton of wet sanding and the first coat of primer.

I had a rock chip in the "o" in the olds logo and I carefully bondo'd that up. Looks good to me.

Tomorrow it will be ready for paint. Can't wait to see it with some color.

I say go for it it looks better on the first pic but imo id go a tad bit wider its your car do what you like to it, another idea if u do the dual stripes maybe add some black on the rockers but I wouldn't do plastidip on those since it doesn't end well in winter/rain being that low to the ground. The black rockers would kinda tie into the stripes and if u didn't like the stripes I think black rockers would still look good with the black lines you painted in the bumpers.

I would do the rockers, but there'* just too much rust on them right now. I'll probably get that fixed during the summer.
I tried the stripes today. They didn't come out very well. After two minutes of shaking the can, my plasti dip started spraying in clumps after i was about half done.. It also came out too heavy in spots and I got some major runs in it. I might pick up a new can next week and give it another try. I did leave them on today to see if I actually like it or not..
Here'* a little comparison shot to my photoshop:

I also gave my fog lights a second attempt.. I got everything mocked up, but couldn't find where the wiring harness goes through the firewall. It started to rain, so I gave up on it.

I think they look pretty good in the bumper.. they don't stick off and look out of place like some fog lights do.

Glad to see you got the other one in.
A close up shot up the now removed license plate dimples from my bumper. I think it looks good. A small change, but noticeable.

looks really good travis, try multiple incredibly light sprays make sure to mask off a larger area if you put more very light coats on it should turn out better.

Your bumper looks really good btw. I can't wait to see it painted and installed.
Thanks, I might try cleaning up what I have first, if its possible. It looks a lot better after it dried.

"And I had a terrible anger problem but def didn't take it out on the truck."
Go buy read, steal, download book on mp3 called "Your Erroneous Zones" by Michigan native Wayne Dyer. I had anger issues in 1984. That one book had information that changed that. Great book, His others books not so great.

Washed the shop floor. Still won't eat anything that falls on it.
I rent this shop for $425 per month, after we downsized for a oversized 2 car garage to a 1 car garage. It comes with heat, electric and a bathroom. I can hold 3 small cars or two large trucks. The only thing that is not so great is that it is narrow, hard to work on vehicles.
