I have a low profile set of Rhino ramps. When they are too high, just add a board or something in front of them to get the front up earlier. Or .. buy a couple pieces of lumber and build your own.
Friday night a GTP and transmission arrived, started it at 10pm, had the trans out by Midnight. Slept well, and put another three hours into it before I was driving it. Had to hit the JY for some of the clips that hold the lines to the radiator/trans (non, threaded year). New motor mount and a new trans line all went in at the same time.
When I was tightening the trans pan bolts after putting in the new filter, the next GTP arrived. This one gets my Bonnevilles old long block motor, a fresh Tim King transmission, intercooler, fuel pump rewire, and some other goodies. It'* gonna be basically the same setup I had in the Bonneville. I have a lot of non-car work stuff in the next two weeks and no weekend days available. This one is going to strictly be a night owl operation.
