pulled the camaro out again yesterday and put a chrome Alt on it.. and did some more detailing work to her..

Got the SSEi out of the garage for a little sun today. Washed her down, replaced one of the batteries, threw away the hood and radiator. Tucked her back in her little corner of the shed.
I think he has, since he'* gonna help me do mine when he gets down here. Mine doesn't use oil though, it uses coolant.

Less than a year after I got the car I had to do that job. And like Nick said, mine was losing coolant, not oil, when that happened.

I'm assuming you probably did the valve cover gaskets at the same time? That'* the only place I ever remember losing oil, and it wasn't because of a bad gasket... I actually blew a small hole in the valve cover = P Hence why I have the aluminum ones.

Replaced the upper coolant hose. The outer layer spit open today. Luckily I just happened to open the hood to take a peek at things.

Didn't have to remove the valve covers to do LIMs, so that'* a negative ghostrider. Like I said its not leaking though
