I finally got around to getting a digital SLR camera. Today I bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. For everything, including extra accessories, I spent about a grand.

This is one sweet camera. I have full manual control over everything, and there are many different modes of shooting I can use when I don't want manual control. I've never owned an SLR camera before, I've only played with em, so this will be a nice learning experience for me.

Expect lots of pictures from me in the future.

I can't wait until I get a digital camera. I've been looking on ebay for some recently...some 5.0mp cameras are going for around $300, which is pretty good for my budget. Hopefully I can find a new one for that price, or a reliable used one, if I dare get a used one.
