This was how faxs were sent back in the stone age, and even in the beggining of the BBS. What we called the internet before Gore claimed he invented it. These modems converted text to audio signal and then back to text. They ran at 300 baud. A baud is the same a bps. We were trailblazers. LOL!

I'm aging myself when I say...I remember and actually used a couple of these. Back in the day...this was the thing to have.
