what is the fastest way to discharge a battery?
my friend left a car battery in mygargae a fewmonths ago, it has since leaked some acid onmy concrete so im getting itthe hell out but wheni checked tomake sure it was discharged it was stll charged , so i put on my safety glasses and some rubber gloves, popped the caps, dumped the elctrolyte, still charged, replaced the electrolyte with water, sitll charged, did it again, still charged, took outside, and left some old hedge clippers as a jumper for a few minutes, the terminals and thepoints wher eit contacted the clippers melted a little but the battery was still producing a charge, at this point i was pissed as hell and stabbed the damn thing countless times with the hedge clippers imt laking like 4-6 inch deep stabs and i occasioanlyl gotlittle burst of smoek while doing so, after id filled every surface of the battery with quarter sized holes i was confident that it wouldnt have a single bit of electricity lef tin it, but holy crap its still producing a charge storng enough to melt little bit softhe hdge clippers hwo the hell do i discharge this dman thing? i was gonnajsut leave a load on it for a few horus an dlet it discharge itself but i dotn have anythign to attach to it

That will also possibly scew your ign. system too.......Take your battery, hook up the other one, and let your radio in the car go until dead.
