Default Ugh! Need help with laundry.

While at work, in the lovely Travel Centers of America Shop, I was taking pictures of a truck for a company. While doing this, I leaned against the 5th wheel plate with my shoulder. For those that don't know, this is the same grease that you lube your car joints with, only it is mixed with dirt, grime, etc.

Now, the question, how do I get this crap out? I don't care about stains, I just want the grease gone. I currently have the shirt soaking in a hot sink full of dish soap <cuts grease right?>, coca cola <2 cans, per suggestions of others>, and laundry soap. Doesn't seem to be doing anything aside from rubbing the grease on other parts of the shirt. The shirt is navy, so adding colors is not really a big deal, which is why I am not too worried about the Coke.

Any suggestions?

DON'T rub it. Your only going to push the grease into other areas.

Use that orange hand cleaner. If it'* safe for hands, its safe for clothes.

Or, try a can of engine degreaser. Spray on, let soak, then rinse.

To say its like car grease is a Big understatment, its thick, its sticky its nasty, dirty, has bugs in it, and Hard as hell to get out. I made the mistake of putting my arm in one when i was pulling the pin out of the 5th wheel changing trailers last year.

I poured on undiluted Pine Sol, right out of the bottle. Use a brush on hard to remove stains, before the washer.

that coke trick actually worked well for my cammies when i was in missouri... but that was only due to not having anything stronger on base...

Kerosene mixed with dishsoap has done wonders for me. Makes a goo that cuts through any grease.

thats going to be tough, but I would try the kerosene mix venom recommended. When ever I made that same mistake on a semi, I got a new work shirt out of it, lol.
