Default Water squirter

Now that my car is running superb, it'* time to do some fun stuff. I think that this requires a little background information for it to all my sense.

My friend, Tara, her Jeep Cherokee has a rear window wiper/washer. Well, the washer part is fucked up, and instead of spraying on the rear window, it sprays straight back, like 5ft.

Not to be outdone, I want something better. Even though her'* is by pure accident. Of course it needs to be adjustable, so I can spray up, down, left, right, or anywhere in between. Just to **** people off, and to have some fun, myself. I want mine to move a good deal of water. I have no clue about actual number data, but I want it to soak people'* cars. And if someone is walking down the street or something, I want to get them soaking too. I can see it now, riding with my friends, "SQUIRT THE FIPS!!" lol. Anyways, yeah.. I'm thinking just a straight tube or something to squirt, but something small to keep the pressure up. Not sure what to use as a pump, i'm thinking probably some homemade something or other will power it. Or if I don't have a use for it, my old windshield washer pump [one of these days i'll make that work properly]. I'm looking to shoot like a good 20ft.. and I don't mind filling the bottle up daily or anything. Just as long as it can run for like 10 minutes straight without emptying, so I can have my fun for 10 minutes.

What are your opinions? This is a serious thread too, I am definitely going to do this, but it'* going to be cheap, and ghetto as hell. But externally, i want it to be clean, and barely noticable [unless you know what you are looking for]. I'm either going to mount it to the side of the 3rd brake light, or maybe if it turns out really good, to mount it somewhere were I would have to cut into the body or something. But I won't do that until it'* actually tested and deemed good enough to cut up my baby for it.

For the movement, I think I will use two servo motors. One controlling up and down, another controlling left/right. Unfortunately that will be kinda big, and make it not work all that well near the 3rd break light. It may just need to be all mounted under the rear bumper or something. The side ones [if I end out doing them], would be fixed. But I would need to figure out a valve system to control which ones I want spraying and whatnot. And I need to figure out something for the pump. I think a ghetto homemade pump may work.. but I need to find the inner workings of a good pump to see what makes a pump a good one.

think cheaper.

Grab an old adjustable mirror, I know Mid-Eighties LeSabres had them. Get the one for the passenger side That'll limit how far away it can be if it'* a cable system, May want to go with an electric one..

Also, Use a Honda washer res and pump, the tank design will let you mount it damned near anywhere.

Use cheap small tube from lowes or home depot. Don't worry about getting it the right size, get the cheapest stuff. Slit the pump end and use self vulcanizing rubber tape to attach it. The smaller the hose the higher the velocity of the water and the farther it'll go.

And remember, If you need an attaching block, Cheap pine won't rot if you dip it in paint about ten times and let each layer dry and ensure full coverage. You have to be sure it isn't wet when you do this. An oven set on 200-250* drys wood fast.

what about mounting it underneath the car? have it squirting up?

I was thinkng underneath the front passenger door. making it adjustable woould be too compliated though, should be fine with a fixed design.

Yeah, alec_b and I were talking about it, and I think I am going to go with a fixed design first. See how well it works. Then move onto something adjustable. He recommended removing one or two of the license plate screws, and having it spray out there [dual spraying!!! haha]. Just aim it for the windshield of an average car or something.. that'll be perfect.

Honda windshield washer bottle/pump, huh? What about '80s wagons? we got a boat load at local yard.

screw that go full out, super soaker CPS 2500, and so my story begins

Back in highschool one of my friend'* friends popped a bunch of coffee creamer packs on his car, and the car was a gramd am less than a year old. so to get back at her, i helped him devise a plan, we went to the supermarket, bought 2 gallons of heavy cream, filled up my 2 CPS 2500'*, which btw have enough force that if u spray a child it could knock him off his feet, and then we knew she was outside dunkin donuts, i pumped em both up to full power we dropped all the windows and started blasting the mission impossible theme song, whipped into the parking lot and dual streams of heavy cream saturated her saab, not a square inch of the driver side was spared, it was hilarious, naturally she was pissed as hell and she never bothered washing the stuff off as far as i know, i like to think of it as the ultimate moneyshot.

Look up under, if the bottom of the tank is flat, you have a winner.

On my buddies dodge pickup, we could turn them and shoot about ~15ft. quite cool.

Just had another idea. Use the joystick from a PS2 controller. L3 to squirt.

Personally...you ever squirt me or my car and I'd chase you down and beat you so bad you'd never have another thought like this again. But that'* cause I don't like people messing with me for no reason.

On a funnier note (yeah..I do have a sense of humor).
Myself and a couple buddies are going out ATV'ing so my truck has one in the bed and one trailing behind...my other buddy is following in his truck with his loaded up. I've got a monster moonroof in the truck. Buddy in my truck puts on a helmet, grabs my super soaker and at 80mph stands up like Fast and the Furious out the moonroof, nailing our other buddy'* windsheild straight on. Oh...we were on speakerphone with him at the time.... Heard the initial reaction. While funny...I was glad my Chevy is faster than his Ford for a couple miles.

Aim/rig headlight washers to shoot forward?

That'* possible in the Cress world, but eh, our headlight washes aren't integrated into the bumper

Bill: It'* just water, man. Besides, I'll do it to people who have no clue who I am... and that'* what will be funny. Random vacationers at night, when they can't see ****. All they'll know is they got soaked.

Repin: You are a genius! Water shooting from all angles! Some idiot walking across the street while I am at the light, BAM! Soaking wet!! Haha, this is just going to be like one big huge *** game for me. Squirt as many people as possible in the next 30 minutes!

I could probably mount the front one somewhere on the SSE Bumper. Side ones just under the car, but aimed up.. possibly on the wheel-well, or around there. Rear in the license plate screws or somewhere around there. I'm so excited! This is going to be some hardcore ****.
